Intimate, comfortable and Private

The Royal Military suite is really quiet; in the evenings and early mornings you will probably hear more owls than seagulls and see more foxes, badgers and rabits than traffic.

The suite enjoys the master bedroom with sofa and an additional single bedroom with bunk beds, this smaller bedroom is often used as a dressing room or for Your luggage. The private bathroom is the third room in this suite.

You will enjoy far reaching views over the Romney marshes toward Folkestone, the Royal Military Canal and over the gardens at Saltcote Place. There is also a wall mounted 32inch flat screen TV, scart and HDMI cables can be supplied if needed.

The mains pressure double ended roll top bath is very popular, and the hydro massage shower in the private bathroom is great fun, watch out for those jets of water as they invigorate you from all angles!

With your own entrance, you may come and go as you please, we offer complimentary WiFi and a full turn down as standard, and complimentary drinks upon your return in the evening

Should you wish to bring another couple with you then a dividing door separates the Royal Military suite from the Rother Valley which sleeps a further 2 adults. Being of sound construction there really is little chance of hearing anyone in the other suite as the walls are really solid. Within your suite you also have the benefit of a smaller bedroom which has bunkbeds.


You have your own remote for both sets of gates so you can come and go as you please whilst possibly leaving your car in our secure grounds as we are a very short walk into Rye.
