Few people will remember what you said but most will never forget how you made them feel
that’s where we come in

We look forward to hosting our mature guests, hardly a week goes by without someone in their 90’s staying with us with younger members of their family, when there are three or more in your group we can offer exclusive use by agreement. 

We offer the ability to park within a few feet of either doors. Hand rails are in most places where needed and various options in each room ensure we get the details right.

When looking for a venue suitable for elderly parents, you may want to consider things like accessibility, location of the bedroom and the route to the bathroom and where meals are served, whether there are lounge facilities on the same floor and how close can you park.

  • Accessibility
    All of our rooms are on the first floor, we are suitable for Zimmer and cane use indoors, whilst some wheelchairs can be difficult to manoeuvre.
  • Location

    Rye is either a downhill 700 yard walk or there is a pub at the end of the flat smooth surface drive at around 300 yards. We will help you create an agenda that is suitable for your needs. 

  • In-room facilities
    We offer the usual tea and coffee facilities in addition to a small quiet refrigerator ideal for fresh milk and medication.

    A range of lighting both bright, dimmable and constant night lights are available as needed. 

    Seating is provided in the bathroom but not in the shower, please bring your shower seat if required.

  • Breakfasts
    We are happy to cater for special dietary requirements which should be discussed and agreed prior to arrival. 
  • Private quiet Lounge
    We have this available on the same floor as the bedrooms if needed, equipped with a 60″ flat TV that is internet connected if you wanted to arrange a meeting with overseas members of the family as a surprise. Additional family and friends can also join you by arrangement and additional catering is an option.

  • Special Medical Equipment
    We are used to Oxygen machines and bottles in addition to other apparatus, let’s just talk and get this right.
