Parking
Our parking is within secure gated grounds, there is no space to park outside of the grounds and nowhere to turn outside of the grounds in our private drive which serves as our private access.
Early arrivals usually do not work, as it’s just the two of us, we would have to stop preparing your suite to give you access, then discuss and agree a time of later arrival in the day. You then have to walk down into the town when the market carpark next to the market and railway station is ideally placed to let you enjoy an early arrival in Rye without needing to disrupt the flow of your day.

We do not have the facility for Guests to take any meals in the rooms for a few reasons. This also applies to take away and deliveries of fast food.
To help us maintain the high standards our guests expect, we kindly ask that meals are not eaten in the guest rooms.
Some foods can leave lingering aromas, and spills or stains—however accidental—can cause damage to our furnishings, fabrics and the carpets.
Food remnants can also cause significant additional cleaning costs and risk us not being able to let the room to the next Guest. This is covered in detail here https://saltcote.co.uk/cancellation-policy/
We offer Bed and Breakfast and on occasions we offer private functions which include private dining for which we will have an agreed plan and of course additional charges.

A Little Note to Help Us Look After Your Room
We completely understand that accidents can happen — some are unavoidable, and some are the sort we’d all rather forget! Whatever the situation, letting us know straight away really helps us put things right quickly and minimise any impact or cost.
If something in the room has been damaged or spilled, an early heads-up often means we can clean it before it sets or worsens.
Please don’t feel awkward or try to hide anything — it’s always far easier (and usually far less expensive) when we can deal with it promptly. We’re not here to tell anyone off; we’d simply like to resolve the issue and move on… probably never mentioning it again. 😉
Thank you for helping us keep everything in lovely condition for all our guests.
